Book Publishing Program

 

Dream Builders 4 Equity’s Book Publishing Program allows for youth to have ownership in their stories and receive revenue from the sale of the published book.

Journal

Students are required to journal throughout the program, offering a productive platform for self-expression & healing.

Produce

Students learn the process of being an author who self publishes a book.

Advertise

The published book allows students to have ownership of a product and develop business skills. Students also participate in a culminating book signing event to share their work.

Earn

Students receive 100% of the proceeds of the sale of the published book.

 

 Student Books

Participants in our Summer Youth Academy are encouraged to write about their experiences throughout the program, how our program has benefited their present lives and will assist them in the future, and how they plan to continue to provide support to underserved communities.
